Challenge with the DGTM
The SmartCatalonia Challenge edition celebrated with the General Direction of Transports and Mobility from the Generalitat de Catalunya (DGTM) proposes 5 real challenges found on the ecosystem of the public transport by road susceptible to being solved through innovative solutions based on the TIC. We encourage companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs to present innovative proposals, viable and adapted for one or several of the proposed challenges.

BETTERING THE GATHERING AND ACCESS TO THE INFORMATION OF THE SERVICE
How to improve the information of the state of the road which is received by the operator and/or user?
Challenge 2
OPTIMIZATION OF THE SERVICE FOR USERS WITH FUNCTIONAL DIVERSITY
How to improve the experience of the user and the accessibility for people with functional diversity?
Challenge 3
DIGITALIZED PAYMENT
How to digitalize the payment system of the single ticket of public transport by road?

How to participate?
To participate you must submit a file in ppt or pdf format (of approximately 10 slides) which expresses in a clear way what the proposal is about (technical aspects, usability, implementation, etc.) and where it is detailed accurately how this proposal answers the challenge in question.

Prizes
– 1st prize: 15.000 € + the opportunity of doing a pilot test of their proyect.
– 2nd prize: 3.000 €
– 3rd prize: 2.000 €

Challenge
The final at IMC
The ten finalists will participate in the final which will be held within the International Mobility Congress in Sitges, 22nd of September.
